Quick Update

Really these updates are kind of boring but I like it that way! Nora continues to do great and is the super star of the ICC unit.

• As of yesterday she weighed 4 pounds 11 ounces! More than a pound greater than her birth weight.
• She is tolerating her crib wonderfully and keeping her body temp up great!
• She is breastfeeding really well for her young age and of the typical 3 feedings I am there for in a day she will breastfeed at one of those pretty well.
• Next step is to introduce the bottle and see how she does with that. We were cleared to try that at any time but we are holding off a little bit to see what she does with breastfeeding before we give the bottle.
• If she can take the bottle well and breastfeed well then she is to coming home. All she needs to do it be able to feed by breast and/or bottle and she is home! Yay!

Anna is doing great and anxious as we all are to bring Nora home so we can all be together. We will see what she thinks of all of this when Nora starts acting like a full term baby but I have a feeling she will still be over the moon in love with her little sister!

Chad and I are tolerating our schedules and making the best of what we have to do right now. The weekends are nice and a little more relaxing. Feel like we have more time in the day to just be together. The week days are more jam packed with work and being with Nora and making sure Anna is where she needs to be.

As always, I need to just say thank you to so many people that have made this transition and time so much easier. From picking up Anna from the bus to making us a home cooked meal, thank you! For those that helped get our house and especially Nora's room in order and ready for her to come home, thank you! For the calls, emails, FB messages, gifts and visits, thank you! For the prayers and well wishes, thank you! For those that understand our season of life right now and are patient in our friendships, thank you! I can't say enough how grateful we are for every help, big or small!
