The Best Medicine

When is the last time you laughed so hard you either peed your pants or cried? You have had one of those moments lately, haven't you? We NEED to have those moments.

I have rewritten this paragraph over and over but what I really want to say is simple.

I love to laugh. I love people that can make me laugh. I love looking back at moments in time when I have laughed so hard I thought I would never stop. I love when Anna gets into her deep belly laugh and she can't stop. I love the giggles of a little baby.

Laughing is good. Good for the soul. Good medicine to cure the blues. It is amazing how fast a mood can be turned around with a good laugh.

Just a couple of weeks ago we were eating dinner together as a family. We were eating out and Anna and Chad were playing Tic Tac Toe. They ran out of room to play so Chad said they could play connect the dots on Mommy's "beauty marks" on my arms. I know, not real funny. Right? Right. But Anna thought it was the funniest thing and she laughed so hard she was crying. Which in turn made me laugh hysterically. Such a fun family moment just from laughing.

A couple of years ago we were playing a game called Quelf. If you are looking for a good laugh, you must play this game. Seriously so funny. It generates funny. One of the people that was playing was pretty pregnant and peed her pants. Literally. I laughed so hard I almost peed mine too.

Oh there are more but those are the two that are popping out in my head right now. And my brain is fried so I am lucky I even got these memories out!

I want to laugh. I need to laugh. Can you share with me a time where you had a great big laugh? Will it be funny to others or was it a "had to be there" kind of moment? Do you have friends that you can count on to make you laugh? Don't you agree that it is such good medicine for the soul?

I think laughter is some of the best medicine! I would say one memory that sticks out would be Heath and Ryan's original performance of "Like a Virgin" by Madonna. Of course there are more, but I thought you would appreciate this one since you were there:)
