A couple of weeks ago the three of us headed up to Lindstrom to a friends house for a sleepover. Corey and Gilly went to Anna's daycare until earlier this year when they moved to their new house. Corey and Anna were best buddies at Mary's. I would even say they were joined at the hip! Through their friendship I became friends with their mom, Heidi who I find out loves scrapbooking and actually runs her own business! I attended a scrapbooking retreat of hers and had a couple of playdates with the kids together and we became friends too.
Since they have moved Corey and Anna have seen each other a couple of times. They m

iss each other and get so excited to get together. So, when I told Anna that we were going to go to Corey's house and stay over she was more than thrilled! And Chad and I were looking forward to spending a quiet night relaxing and hanging out while getting to know Heidi and Bill better.
The kids had a fabulous time playing together and the adults had some fun too. Heidi made some wonderful Mojitos and we played some card games of 500. (Bill and I kicked Chad and Heidi's butts!) It was a nice night even if their water well broke part way through the night. Good thing they live near a lake to fill the toilets with! Ha :)

It is fun to see the three kids play together and I look forward to seeing where their friendship takes them over the years!

Ok-my first piece of my comment is more of a general one...What happened to The Carstens Clan? A new title? I am not so sure about change Tina!
Second, I love this story-so fun to have those experiences with people in your life and Anna's life. Fun times!
