The idea of seeing Obama in person also inspired Tina Carstens, 32, of Brooklyn Park, who said she recognized the bitterness the campaign between Obama and Clinton had created among some women.
"But there's none of that in any of my circle of friends," she said.
I had stated to the reporter that I was an Obama supporter and have been from day one. He said he found it interesting that women of my age didn't align more with Clinton. I offered to him that I don't feel that just because I am a woman I should align with a woman for president as much as I think she deserves it as much as any man. What I look for is the person and what they can do for our country. And then I mentioned that most of my friends in my circle feel the same way. I guess he got it somewhat close! :)

You know, if you were hurt at all (public reputation or otherwise), you may have a claim against the STrib for portraying you in a false light... (well, not quite).
Sorry, I'm studying this topic right now for the Bar Exam.
I enjoyed reading your Obama posts, though it's too bad the STrib misquoted you. The MPR link showing the line to the Xcel was especially entertaining. Sounds like you had an amazing time at the rally. I had to settle for watching in my living room--but I was there in spirit! Your cuz, Sara
Fun Blog Carstens! I love all of the pictures!
