I am a Christian and I know that one of the Ten Commandments reads, "You shall have no other gods before Me." But sometimes, I just want to bow down before the Google Gods and give praise. Seriously, how can one company be so right on in the needs of us internet lovers! Ok, that doesn't sound right, how about people who love the internet. Better.
I am talking more specifically about Google Reader. If you like to read blogs, news sources, entertainment news or really any site on the internet that you check daily, weekly, or even monthly for updates, you need to use the Google Reader!
There you can "subscribe" to all of the sites you read and it will tell you when they are updated. You can link to all of the articles and blog posts right from the Reader! It saves so much time in checking in on those that may only blog occasionally! And it organizes all of the news sources you like to check and gives you the must up to date information!
Ok, so I have 109 subscriptions right now. Can you imagine how long that would take me to check 109 websites for updates! I can breeze through them with Google Reader!
And beyond Reader, Google Maps, Images, Documents, Calendar and E-mail are all way above any other services you may use! Really, you should check it out!
OK, my commercial is over. I wish Google would pay me for that!

I couldn't agree more! I "only" have 30 subscriptions, but it saves me hours by not having to click through to each website. In addition, that's how I can post a comment to your blog within an hour of your posting... With Google Reader, I can simply pop in a few times a day to see if I have anything new.
Plus, with the view setting I have right now, for many blogs I can read the entire entry right in Google Reader -- and can scroll past the ones I don't want to read (of course, I always read The Carstens Clan).
