Playing in the Park: On a Much Lighter Note

With being sick all week, putting our dear cat to sleep, and our refrigerator dying (yes, things do happen in 3's!) I found it very easy to get down and have a pity party or two. But today, this Easter, I took some time to reflect and realize how thankful I am for what I have and not what I don't have.

We just had the wonderful opportunity to spend the week with David and Emma (more to come on that in a future blog). Besides this annoying little cold I have we all have our health. And we have a happy and healthy 4 year old who just breathes life into me. Yes, we are thankful and praise God!

This Easter weekend, I am also reminded of the generosity of others. Our good friends, the Vosbergs experienced it first hand and have inspired me with their last two blog posts to focus on my desire to be a more generous person!
