I wasn't sure how the visit to Santa would go this year with Nora, but she was a trooper. She wasn't buying all the jolly old st. nick talk but she didn't scream her head off either. She was very serious sitting there on his lap. I am sure Anna being there next to her helped termendously!
Anna of course was excited to see the big man in the red suit and ask for all the things Mommy and Daddy have already told Santa not to bring. There will be no DSi or American Girls delivered this year. Plenty of other favorites on the list that Santa can deliver on though!
I just can't get over what a great experience it is to see Santa in Downtown White Bear Lake. They do such a great job. We got there right away and the line wasn't too bad but it was growing by the minute. The Santa is super. And it is free if you bring a donation to the local food shelf. You wait just a short hour and pick up your photo at the local pharmacy. While you wait you can take a free horse drawn carriage ride, get some hot chocolate or yummy baked goods at Key's Cafe, or visit a favorite store of mine, Good Things! We all really enjoyed our annual Santa tradition!
