Go Ahead and Laugh

This post is really for those of you living in far away places that probably don't see this often if at all. And most likely don't see this so early in the season. Ugh! We had a substantial snow event today. Not just flurries but INCHES of snow.

Notice how there are still leaves on the trees under that snow!

At my office. Have to admit is was quite pretty with the snow on all the vegetation!

Good news is that it is supposed to warm up this weekend and next week. Will we get our Indian summer yet?

Hard to believe you had such snow such a short time after the posts below at the Pumpkin Patch. Where are you at?

Snow so soon? Wow! It was pretty cold this morning when I woke up (37)! Hoping for a winter wonderland this holiday =).

Oh my goodness look at that white stuff!! As funny as it sounds, I always love the first snow, no matter when it is :)

So THAT'S what snow looks like?!? Just kidding -- it looks beautiful, albeit cold!

Is the bluish tinge a camera effect or were these photos taken around twilight?

Love,
David

Cathy, I am in MN.

David - Come on. Don't you miss this at all! Ha! I was taking the photos with my cell phone so they aren't the greatest but I was close to pre-dawn time so it did have that bluish tint to it.

We see a light dusting of snow down here in Austin once every three years or so. My kids are desperate to see real snow. Maybe I'll load them in the car and start driving your direction.

Oh. My. Goodness! I was scrolling through your posts and saw the snowy picture and I thought that maybe it was a really old post--that you'd been away from your blog for awhile. But really? Snow in October? Here in southeastern Virginia we hardly ever see snow at any time of year! Did your warm weather return?
