Found a Gem

Another dental post... Today Anna had her first visit to the dentist! I did do a lot of procrastinating on her first appointment mainly because I had no idea where to take her. Because I didn't have a regular dentist that I liked, I wasn't sure how to go about finding a dentist for Anna.

I finally just did a search with the insurance company for pediatric dentists in the area. Then I checked their websites to see what feeling I got for them. I was so impressed by the looks of Riverdale Pediatric Dentistry in Coon Rapids from their website that I finally bit the bullet and made the appointment. I called yesterday and they were able to get us in tonight.

Let me tell you - I loved this place. Anna did too. They were so great. Totally kid friendly and they made Anna feel so comfortable. Hygentist Andrea and Dr. Darcy were fabulous! I was talking to a mom in the waiting area before the appt and she was telling me how she had gone through 3 dentists before she found this place for her kids and fell in love with it. She also mentioned that she has two kids with ADD and one with Aspergers and this was the only place that knew how to work with them. She had such high praise that I knew we were in the right place.

I would highly, highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone for their children. I know Coon Rapids isn't real convenient for many of you but if you are willing to take a short drive twice a year I would encourage you to check them out.

We stopped at Perkins for a special dinner afterwards! Anna really wanted rainbow pancakes, sausages and eggs!
